Static Sternocleidomastoid Stretch

  • Stand with your feet pointing straight ahead and placed shoulder width apart. 
  • Lower your left ear towards the left shoulder until you feel tension develop on the opposite side of the neck.
  • Slowly let your head tilt back until you feel a stretch in the front of your neck on the right side. 
  • Hold 20-30 seconds.
  • Switch sides and repeat.
